IT exec sells in Brooklyn co-op for $1.325M

Didier H. Steven and his wife, Sarah, sold Unit #7D at 187 Hicks St. in Brooklyn Heights/Cobble Hill to Gabriel and Lindsay Pizzi for $1.325 million on Jan. 8.

The unit is in a co-op building between Love Lane and Pierrepont Street.

Mr. Steven has served as the vice president of ZensarThoughtDigital, a business and IT consultant organization that helps companies in their investments through applications and technology in the Oracle eco-system. He has been in the IT industry for more than 15 years.

In 2001, he co-founded ThoughtDigital, a systems integrator acquired by SOA Software. He also worked for Fulcrum Solutions

He has served companies such as IBM, Gemini Consulting, Oracle Corporation, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and marchFIRST.

Steven earned his bachelor's in finance and classical French literature from Saint Joseph's University in Pennsylvania and his master's from Seton Hall University School of Business in New Jersey.

187 Hicks St., which was built in 1936, has 29 units in seven floors.

Condo sales in Brooklyn Heights/Cobble Hill are up 102 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price rose from $425,000 to $565,000 in 2007.
