Stefano and Robyn Vaccara bought a five-bedroom, three-bath home at 623 President St. in Park Slope from Paul and Leslie Tague for $950,000 on April 16.

The 1,864-square-foot home was built in 1901.

Vaccara is editor and columnist of Oggi 7, the weekly magazine of the Italian language daily, America Oggi.

He also teaches Italian at the The New School in New York City.

He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Siena and his M.A. from Boston University.

Ms. Vaccara is a language lecturer at the New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies.

She most recently was an English as a second language instructor at The New School. She also lectured at the American Language Institute at New York University.

She received a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an M.A. from New York University. She also holds a certificate from Cambridge University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 181 home sales in Park Slope during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $652,500.
