Jeannette Kuo, Yong Suen Kuo, and Nhut Van Hong bought Unit #11D condo at 110 Livingston St. in Brooklyn Heights/Cobble Hill from Primacy Closing Corp. for $925,000 on Jan. 31.

Kou is a co-founder of KouChaouni Design, a multi-disciplinary design collaborative that works on projects in the U.S., Europe and North Africa.

She's also a visiting lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and prior to that, was a Maybeck visiting assistant professor at University of California-Berkeley and a project designer at the Architecture Research Office.

110 Livingston St., which was built in 1926, has 17 floors and 300 residential units. The building formerly housed the New York City Board of Education.

Condo sales in Brooklyn Heights/Coble Hill are down 48 percent in 2008 versus 2007. The median sales price is also down from $565,000 in 2007 to $537,000 so far this year.
