Chemistry professor takes Brooklyn 3BD condo

Roberto Sanchez-Delgado and Victoria Medialdea bought a three-bedroom, 1.5-bath condo at 130 St. Edwards St. in Brooklyn from Estelle V. Rogers for $330,000 on Nov. 20.

The 1,100-square-foot condo was built in 1957 in the Fort Greene neighborhood and is part of the 130 St. Edwards St. condominium development.

Sanchez-Delgado is a professor at the chemistry department of Brooklyn College.

He previously was a professor at the Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research in Caracas, Venezuela.

He received his bachelor's degree in chemistry and his Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry from Imperial College at the University of London. He completed his post-doctoral degree in organometallic chemistry at the University Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg, France.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,340 condo sales in Brooklyn during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $300,000.
